• March 23 - Conduct & Liability Forms with $100 (non-refundable for airline ticket)
• April 3 - Pay Balance of Airline Ticket Cost
• April 30 - Pay Balance of Cost or Points (Unless working May 1 Tech Party)

SkillsUSA Points

• Each student can earn up to $120 for Practice at $1 per point (Uses all money currently earned).
• MTCHS Work points will be earned at $20 per hour.
• Positive balances will be paid in the following manner.
• Students may earn money back to cover a payment from them or their parents.
• MTCHS will not cut checks until all bills have been paid.

Scholarships

MTCHS Travel Scholarship for Students 

This Travel Scholarship is sponsored by a local small business and is available to students who need financial assistance to participate. The total scholarship is $500 and TWO students will be awarded. 

To apply, simply write a short paragraph (4–6 sentences) explaining:

• what you hope to gain or learn from the trip 
• what you have gained from SLSC or SkillsUSA in general 
• why you are deserving of the scholarship. 

Idaho CTE Foundation Merit Scholarship

• This scholarship is to help toward expenses for student travel to the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference.
• Must be your first time competing at the National Conference.
• Scholarship Award Amount: $1,300
• Application due March 19, 2026
