        The SkillsUSA competition theme for the 2023-24 school year is:

        SkillsUSA: No Limits

        The topic to be addressed by competitors in the 2024 SkillsUSA Chapter Display, Prepared Speech, and Promotional Bulletin Board competitions.

        Within this topic, competitors might illustrate or discuss any of the following:

        1. The theme "SkillsUSA: No Limits" implies that there is no ceiling to what SkillsUSA student members can achieve. Name three ways that SkillsUSA helped you gain greater confidence to achieve your goals.

        3. If you were asked to create a member recruitment campaign around the theme "SkillsUSA: No Limits," what would be three key points?
        4. How has learning and practicing the SkillsUSA Framework Essential Elements given you confidence in your skill set? Name two Essential Elements that you have utilized to help you work toward a goal.

      • State Officer Application

        • Timeline for SkillsUSA Idaho State Officer Applications of MTCHS SkillsUSA Members

          Interested candidates must have been or currently be a local chapter STOR/SkillsUSA Officer.

          • By Monday, February 9:  Notify Ms. Deitchler by email and pick up the SkillsUSA State Officer Application or see below for a PDF version of the application.
          • Responsibilities and expectations of the position at the state level and the local level:
            • In addition to State Responsibilities you are expected to attend and help with all MTCHS STOR events and meetings
            • Must be a STOR Rewards member, $10 dues must be paid by February 3, 2023, and will be able to earn rewards points
          • Prepare a 60 second speech: "I want to become an  SkillsUSA  Idaho State Officer because..."
          • Thursday, February 15 @ Tech Fair Opening Session:  Be prepared to give your speech and answer one question in front of the student body
          • Verify SkillsUSA Idaho Statesman Pin Status:  Must have completed form turned in by February 29 
          • Wednesday, February 21:  At STOR Lunch Meeting - Candidate speeches and voting for two candidates to apply for state office from MTCHS
            • Upon voting, the two candidates with the highest votes will complete the SkillsUSA  Idaho State Officer Application with supporting documents by March 1
          • Failure to meet any or all deadlines will result in forfeiting your position to run for state office
