      • Each student can earn up to $120 for Practice at $1 per point (Uses all money currently earned).
      • MTCHS Work points will be earned at $20 per hour.
      • Positive balances will be paid in the following manner.
        • Students may earn money back to cover a payment from them or their parents.
        • MTCHS will not cut checks until all bills have been paid.

      MTCHS Travel Scholarship for Students from Single-Parent Homes

      This Travel Scholarship is available to MTCHS students from single-parent households who need financial assistance to participate. The total scholarship is $1000 and could be split between students if there are multiple applicants. 

      To apply, simply write a short paragraph (4–6 sentences) explaining:

      • what you hope to gain or learn from the trip 
      • what you have gained from SLSC or Skills USA in general 
      • why you are deserving of the scholarship. 
      Email the application paragraph to your contest advisor. 


      Idaho CTE Foundation Merit Scholarship

      • This scholarship is to help toward expenses for student travel to the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference.
      • Must be your first time competing at the National Conference.
      • Scholarship Award Amount: $1,300
      • Application due April 23, 2025
