MTCHS Tech Fair (local competition): February 15, 2024 7:45 A.M. to 2:10 P.M.
Idaho State Competition: April 3-5, 2024 - All day event including some evening functions.
- State Conference registration fee: $55.00 (required)
- Includes 2 lunches, t-shirt & pin
- April 4 (5:00-8:00 PM) is Champions Night Fee at Wahooz: $30.00 (optional)
- Includes unlimited pass, $5 game card & unlimited drinks
National Leadership & Skills Conference: June 24-28, 2024 in Atlanta, GA: Must earn gold at state competition to be eligible.
- Practice will be held weekly beginning in February & March. You agree to attend all practice sessions set by the advisor for each event. The practice session schedules will be on the school website or arranged individually with your advisor.
- It is your responsibility to keep track of and attend ALL practice sessions.
- You must also give your advisor adequate time to prepare any materials necessary for your competition.
- SkillsUSA STOR members can earn points through attending practices. Each practice worth is determined by the advisors, but there is a maximum of 160 points per event.
- These points at $.25/point can be used to pay for SkillsUSA competition registration costs, SkillsUSA merchandise, STOR Registration Fees and certification exams.
- Juniors and seniors competing in tech events that are related to their pathway can schedule custom training/practice with their advisor/pathway teacher. It is understood that many juniors and seniors learn the knowledge necessary to compete in their pathway. However, it is still important to attend particular training events that may have specific information concerning a competition. If you do not attend practices, you will not earn STOR points.
State Competition: You may compete in 1 Leadership/Occupational Contest & 1 Technical Contest.
